As a Manchester family photographer, I take a gentle, child-led approach, letting your session drift naturally with your family’s rhythm. There’s no rush, no expectations, just space to play, explore, just to be with each other. We will follow the light, the laughter, the small in-between moments. The way your child reaches for your hand, the wind in their hair, the quiet pauses and bursts of joy. I will gently guide you when needed, but mostly I’ll observe, capturing your beauty as it naturally appears. Memories that don’t just show how your family looks, but how it feels to be together.

WHat if it rains?
I always keep a close eye on the weather in the days leading up to your session, so you don’t need to worry about being caught out. If the forecast turns wild, we can simply reschedule and wait for calmer skies. And if it’s just a little drizzle and you’re feeling adventurous, we can embrace it! Running, laughing, and dancing in the rain to create something a little bit magical.
WHat should we wear?
When dressing as a family, try to think in tones rather than exact matches. mixing complementary shades across each person adds interest while still feeling harmonious. The same goes for texture: natural fabrics like linen, cotton, and soft knits add depth and warmth, especially when layered thoughtfully. Soft, neutral tones - think ivory, earthy browns, muted greens, blues and black. At the end of the day what matters most is that you feel comfortable and like yourselves.
WHERE SHOULD WE SHOOT?
Manchester has some gorgeous locations to photograph at! Fletcher Moss in Didsbury is one of my favourites, with the gorgeous gardens and open fields at the back of the park its the perfect spot. There is the stunning Dunnam Massey and lots of incredible spots around the Peak District.

Can’t recommend Chloe enough! The session felt so natural and I absolutely love the photos. We booked the shoot to mark a milestone, our daughter had just taken her first steps and was then able to stand by herself.
