I was so excited to be part of The Afternoon Collective's shoot along at Formby beach, Beth and Laura absolutely nailed the styling and whole vibe of this photoshoot, also it was amazing to be surrounded by a group of likeminded female creatives.

The forecast for the day was showing heavy rain but we showed up and shot through it and the stormy weather definitely gave us an incredible stormy cinematic vibe, ending with the most incredible glowing golden hour sunset! The dramatic moody skies and swaying tall grass all worked together to create a setting that felt both wild and serene—a perfect reflection of the journey to motherhood.

An Earthy & Authentic Approach


As a Lancashire maternity photographer, my aim is always to document motherhood in its most organic form. This session was all about letting the couple be themselves—wandering through the dunes, sharing quiet embraces, and feeling the ocean breeze as they soaked in the beauty of this fleeting chapter. The neutral, textured tones of their outfits blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings, enhancing the warm, earthy aesthetic that makes these images feel so timeless.
