As a family photographer based in Lancashire the beach at Formby is the most incredible spot for any kind of session really! The salty air, golden light, and endless space to run and play, it’s a dream setting for families to just be.


I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family of five during the summer months and it's safe to say they brought all the sunshine with them during their session, and honestly we had the best time! With three wild ones, the magic really does happen when you follow their lead and go with the flow. And that’s exactly what we did and I truly feel each child's personality shine's through each frame.


What's not to love about barefoot cuddles in the dunes, sandy toes and windswept hair. Family tickle fights, impromptu shell collecting missions, and kids tumbling into fits of laughter, I adore capturing families with a storytelling approach, documenting your moments as they unfold. The kind of session that reminds you why you do what you do.
